This is one of C-chan's old semi-collages featuring Mac OSX 10.1 Puma-tan posing as Mikuru Asahina (from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) doing her trademark "Mikuru Beam". Or in this case, the"Puma-chan Beam".

Unlike a full collage (like the ones Canalfriend was addicted to), a semi-collage is a vector image traced rather faithfully from a preexisting image, but still inherently different (due to the simpler, modular nature of vector graphics) as to end up with significant unintended divergences from the original. If not for the above admission, or the highly-recognizable pose, it would nearly be possible to assume this picture was drawn completely from scratch. Hence, the coined phrase: "semi-collage".

Puma-tan (aka, "Pu-chan") is a shy, demure, mousy OSX-tan that gets pushed around easily in the Mac House (to the point where she has been volunteered to be the unofficial house maid, without so much as a little push-back on her part). It's for this reason that Mikuru is a rather appropriate character base for her personality.

While she has no real "Puma-chan" beam as a defense, she does have the ability to emit super powerful "Sonic Screams", capable of busting ear drums as far as a mile away. However, given how easily she's scared, this is more of an expensive liability than an asset when she's at home.

I believe it was the artist Esu who originally created this version of OSX Puma-tan.
